1. Operator and acceptance
On the Map is operated by Wisdom Digi Cyber Solutions W.L.L, Commercial Registration 153479-1, Bldg 1239, Road 531, Block 905, Riffa, Kingdom of Bahrain ("we", "us"). By using the site you agree to these Terms. To submit or pay for a listing, you must be at least 18 and legally able to enter a contract, or act with authority for a business.
2. The service
We provide a moderated, decorative digital publication service. The map is divided into 2,000 coded hexagons of equal size. An approved listing may include a display name, emoji, short message, external link, business logo and share card associated with one hexagon.
A listing is not land or an interest in land. It gives no property, tenancy, investment, voting, geographic, governmental or exclusive intellectual-property right in Bahrain or in the physical area shown, and it has no resale or investment value.
The map and its labels, positions and coordinates are illustrative and approximate. Do not use them for navigation, surveying, legal boundaries, valuation or emergency decisions.
3. Submissions, price and contract
There are two flat prices, one for personal listings and one for business listings. A listing is a business listing when its name, logo or link promotes a company, brand, product or organisation, and we may reclassify a submission accordingly before approval. Prices are in Bahraini dinars, are shown on the hexagon's page before you submit, and are charged up front. The final total and any applicable tax will be confirmed before you pay.
After you submit the form you are sent to secure checkout at pay.digi.bh, operated by our payment provider Tap, where you may pay by card, BenefitPay or Apple Pay. The hexagon is held for 30 minutes while you pay; if payment is not completed in that time, the hold lapses and the hexagon is released. A paid submission is a request for review, not an accepted order. We may accept, reject or request changes to it, usually within a day. A contract for publication begins when we approve the content. If we reject a paid submission, we refund the full amount to the original payment method within 14 days.
4. Publication term
The fee is one-time and has no automatic renewal. We intend to display an approved listing for the life of the On the Map project, with a minimum service commitment of 12 months from publication. Perpetual availability is not promised. Temporary maintenance, security incidents and events outside reasonable control do not end the service commitment.
If we permanently end the project during the first 12 months, the remedy in the Refund Policy applies.
5. Your content and permission
You keep ownership of content you submit. You confirm that it is accurate, lawful, and that you have all rights and permissions needed to use it. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, format and display the content for operating and promoting On the Map, including generated share cards. This licence ends when the content is permanently removed, except for lawful records and material already shared by others.
You are responsible for your destination link and for keeping it lawful and secure. We may remove a broken, redirected or unsafe link without removing the rest of the listing.
6. Moderation and removal
Every submission is reviewed by a person and nothing is published until approved. The Content Rules form part of these Terms. We may reject, edit with your agreement, suspend or remove content that breaches those rules, infringes rights, creates a security risk, is ordered removed by a competent authority, or exposes us or others to legal liability.
Where practical, we will contact you and allow a correction. Urgent or legally required removal may occur without notice. Removal caused by your breach is not eligible for a refund, without limiting rights that cannot legally be excluded.
7. Businesses and third-party links
Business verification is a limited check of information supplied or available at review time. It is not an endorsement, guarantee of quality or confirmation of continuing licence status. User-submitted links lead to independent websites; we do not control their products, statements, security or privacy practices.
8. Cancellations and refunds
You may abandon a submission before payment at no cost; the hold simply lapses after 30 minutes. A rejected submission is refunded in full to the original payment method within 14 days. Cancellations, failures to publish, duplicate payments and service discontinuation are handled under the Refund Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory rights under Bahrain consumer law.
9. Site availability and liability
We use reasonable care to operate the site and moderate listings, but cannot promise uninterrupted access or that every user statement is accurate. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site or a third-party link. Any liability that cannot be excluded remains unaffected. For a paid listing, our aggregate contractual liability will not exceed the amount paid for that listing, except where such a limit is prohibited by law.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms for legal, security or operational reasons. The version shown when an order is accepted governs that order unless a later change is required by law or is more favourable to you. Material changes affecting an active paid listing will be communicated using the order email where reasonably possible.
11. Bahrain law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and disputes are subject to its competent courts. This does not prevent either party using an available consumer complaint or settlement process.
