What it is
It is a participatory digital artwork and a small public guestbook. A hexagon is a place to publish a name or short message on this website, and somewhere to send friends so they can admire your commitment to a purely decorative gesture. The hexagon's code, its position on our drawing and its page are digital features of On the Map, nothing more.
It is not land. A listing does not create ownership, tenancy, investment, geographic, governmental or intellectual-property rights in any part of Bahrain. What you pay for is a few lines of text on a website, and the quiet satisfaction of having done it.
Place labels, hexagon positions and coordinates are provided for visual context. They are approximate and must not be used for surveying, navigation, addressing, valuation or defining a legal boundary.

We aim to acknowledge messages within two Bahrain business days. Consumer complaints may also be made to Bahrain's Consumer Protection Directorate through the official Ministry of Industry and Commerce channels.
